We will teach the very basics in soap making in a very condensed, easy to understand concept to accomodate the young at heart. We will do an actual demonstration of making soap from start to finish. When the demo is done, the child and partner will be given a pre-made 3.25 pound block of soap and shown how to create bars, soaps-on-a-rope, pucks and more. Herbs and botanicals will be provided, and this very hands on children's class will be fun and bubbly for all. The 3.25 pounds of soap will be yours to take home and enjoy and of course the recipe should the partners want to make more soap when they get home. The cost is a group price and up to 3 persons may register for a single registration fee. Registration must be paid for 5 days prior to attending. This is scheduled during Open Barn Time and will have a course length of approximately 1-1 1/2 hours. Available date:
